For over forty (40) years, our firm has provided legal services in the area of guardianships, probate administration, estate planning and elder law. Besides seeing the needs of individual clients in these areas, our firm has also represented the trust departments of financial institutions throughout Northwest Indiana . Both James S. Bozik and Richard J. Rupcich actively participate in this area of the law firm's practice.

Beginning as a corporate trust officer in the early 1960s James Bozik has represented individual and corporate clients in the preparation of trust and wills, probate administration, guardianships and adoptions for over forty (40) years. James S. Bozik also is an active participant in shaping Indiana law in these areas by serving on the Indiana Probate Commission.

Richard Rupcich also practices in these areas and has been a member of the law firm for over twenty (20) years. Besides spending significant time in probate matters, Richard Rupcich also has drafted numerous wills, trusts and other estate planning documents. In addition, Richard has developed a practice in estate litigation which includes the representation of clients in will contests and claims against estates. Mr. Rupcich has been a frequent speaker on these topics and for a period of over ten (10) years has been an adjunct professor at Valparaiso School of Law where he has taught estate planning, federal estate and gift tax, as well as the probate process and estate litigation.
