Of counsel at Blachly, Tabor, Bozik and Hartman, James Bozik has been with the firm since 1965. Prior to that, he managed the trust department at First National Bank of Valparaiso . For 45 years, he has helped families handle matters of estate planning, probate and trust administration and guardianships. His business counsel and guidance have led to numerous substantial gifts to area and regional non-profit organizations that serve the people of Porter County and Northwest Indiana at the request of clients.

Involved in the leadership of civic and community activities and organizations through the years, including United Way, the Porter County Election Board and the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Bozik was honored in 1965 with the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Community Leader Award. His civic involvement includes passionate belief in and support of the Boy Scouts of America through work with local troops previously as a District Board member and as Area Chairman and currently as Merit Badge Counselor.
